Yesterday, we drove the full length of I-81 thru Virginia. I have never seen such a high number of state troopers in one length of highway... 35 cars (most marked, some unmarked) either issuing tickets, or parked in the median watching traffic, in a 325 mile stretch.
I wonder if this was a concentrated effort because of problems on I-81, or if this is normal. I was amazed.
